For Monday Morning

I have always been a dreamer. Someone who never rests, someone who while completing a project has already plenty of new ideas for the next one.
There are little dreams and big dreams.

One of my greatest dreams is to, some day, make a stop motion animation movie. I am convinced that one day I will actually happen. I feel that with every book I read on this subject, and after every stop motion film I watch, and every encounter with someone who works in this field, I slowly approach this goal. Even Mr Gromit's photo that is on the wall of my studio for years reminds me about this dream.

Today I share with you two music videos that I really like and that are made in stop-montion.
Enjoy!

Charlie Darwin - The Low Anthem

Fleet Foxes video for "White Winter Hymnal"

I´m sure that you will make your dream come true. You have all the skills, your art, the love and the passion for it. I simply LOVE stop-motion animation, and it has something magical, complex, meticulous and real that any other kind of film has. I´m totally into stop-motion (my dear "hubby" is starting to make his own home short films and figures, decorations, etc, and I´m completely fascinated by it).
In the Attic or Who Has a Birthday Today, Madame Tutli Putli, Flatworld... and of course Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the sheep and the wonderful Tim Burton and Henry Selick films are the finest work of art.
Thanks for sharing the videos. I love this Fleet Foxes song, but I didn´t know Charlie Darwin.

I can see it-a film with your characters would be amazing! Have you read the autobiography of Oliver Postgate who made the Clangers among other things. His tale of how they made their films is realy interesting!
